Chevrolet Brings Shock Yellow to Camaro Lineup

If you’re a thirty year-old boomer the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS in Shock Yellow is the perfect way to wake up your neighbors. We can’t speak to its volume output yet, but we know you’ll soon be ordering a new exhaust to match its ocular intensity. A great color that compliments the sports drink you carry while riding your lawn mower.

“What about my current Camaro?” You may ask. Well, it’s outdated now. The 2019 Camaro has been facelifted with a new nose, a whole host of new accessories, and part options trickled down from the higher end models. Some of the most important options include a new Turbo 1LE trim with a 275 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine, forward collision warning, updated navigation, and a 10-speed automatic transmission upgrade for the Camaro SS. The 10L80 transmission also features launch control and line lock for maximum attention when the light turns green.

Additional parts on the non-standard list involve upgraded ground effects, black colored rear wing, redesigned air box, Recaro seats, six-piston Brembo brakes, new wheel choices, rear view camera mirror, and upgraded data recording. New LED headlights, tail lights, and new hood are standard across the board. Only the Camaro ZL1 will keep its current snout.

You may see the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS at the Chevrolet booth at the SEMA show in Las Vegas taking place from October 30 to November 2nd, 2018. Watch for handprints on the roof. Chevrolet salesmen are sure to say this baby will turn so many heads.
